Originally from the East Coast, Singer, Songwriter and Poet Patrice Mason studied voice with Edna Lind of the Metropolitan Opera in NYC.

Patrice studied Jazz piano with Joan Stiles in NYC and Joyce Collins in LA.

She traveled internationally performing jazz standards and French chansons. She sang at the legendary Oriental Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand and was singer/pianist at the Grand Hotel in Oslo, Norway among others.

Since moving from NYC to LA songwriting, recording and poetry have been her focus.

Her CD of original material ‘Beautiful Day’, was promoted and distributed in Tokyo, Japan. Online Jango Radio plays her original music worldwide.

New songs include ‘Je Reve’, ‘Music’ and ‘Tender Earth.

She performed many one woman shows with jazz trio, including ‘Love’ at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel’s, Cinegrill. Videos are on YouTube.
